Dr. Agnihotri first completed his bachelor's degree in engineering at NJIT. From there he attended New Jersey Dental School, where his interest in cosmetic, oral and maxillofacial surgery began. He then matched into the UMDNJ 6-year integrated surgical residency, through which he obtained his doctorate of medicine and internship in general surgery.
During his residency, he was given the unique opportunity of participating in medical missions, including trips to Ghana and Bangladesh with SmileTrain. The trips involved treating both children and adults with cleft lips and palates. These trips gave him special appreciation for patients with aesthetic, functional and social issues. He has continued his dedication to medical care around the world with ongoing mission trips, most recently to Angouman, Haiti.
After completing his residency, he went on to complete a clinical fellowship in craniomaxillofacial surgery at the Posnick Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in Chevy Chase, Maryland with clinical privileges at Georgetown University Hospital.
